Perfect with a unique cinnamon sweet-cream that compliments the slight spice of our Japanese Matcha Blend, it's hard to put down, and pairs beautifully with seasonal pastries. What You’ll Need:
For the Matcha:
- 1 ½ full teaspoons (8.25g) Blendsmiths Japanese Matcha Blend
- 8oz milk (your choice: dairy, oat, almond, etc.)
For the Cinnamon Bun Sweet Cream Topping:
- 1 cup whipping cream (we're using non-dairy here)
- 6 tbsp ground cinnamon
- A splash of milk
- 3 tbsp brown sugar syrup
How to Make It:
Whip Up the Cinnamon Bun Sweet Cream:
(we recommend making the sweet cream topping in a large batch in advance, prior to service and storing in the fridge)
In a jug, mix together the whipping cream, brown sugar syrup, and a splash of milk. Whisk with a handheld frother until it’s lightly frothy and has a velvety texture. Then, sprinkle in that dreamy cinnamon and whisk for another 15-25 seconds until it's all combined. Store it in the fridge with a lid so it's ready for topping action.
